Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy equipment, including track hoes and dozers with safety and efficiency

Utilize wheel loaders, packers and motor graders as needed

Execute and adhere to grading specifications

Perform utility work, including underground construction and mechanical practices

Apply knowledge of compaction techniques and accurately cut grades by eye for acreage developments

Perform manual labour tasks as required

Adapt to various job site conditions and requirements

Conduct routine maintenance, preparations and minor repairs on machinery

Proven experience operating heavy equipment, particularly track hoes and dozers

Preferred experience with wheel loaders, packers and motor graders

Understanding of grading, grading specifications and utility work

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic machine maintenance

Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering principles

Class 5 driver's license to transport allowable equipment to job sites (Class 1 or 3 preferred)

Flexible and adaptable, willingness to perform manual labour

Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
